2017 SPRING SHOW 'N' Shine

The 2017 Spring Show is over and was a success.  You could say it was a bit warm, too.  We're still sorting through photos and results, but will post some as soon as possible.  We'll also be taking a short break before we plunge into planning the Fall Show that occurs on October 2nd at Columbia Crest Winery in Paterson.

2016 Spring Show

Show dates for the 36th Annual Pacific Northwest Mustang Club Spring Show 'n' Shine
are Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th and 29th.  The lunch cruise and mini-show at Dairy Queen are on Saturday; the big show is Sunday at Columbia Point Marina Park on the Columbia River shore in Richland.

Show Weekend's weather forecast is good.  Lows should be around 50 Saturday through Monday.  Highs should be 75-80.  Skies should be partly cloudy to mostly clear.  These forecasts are from the WSDOT website.

Pre-registration forms were mailed on April 5th to PNWMC club members and entrants from the past 3 years' shows.  We expect these to be delivered by April 9th.  If you do not receive one by then or if you have not attended our shows recently, the form is also right here - Pre-Registration-Form-2016Spring.pdf

.  This form can't be filled out over the internet; it must be printed, filled out by hand, and delivered to us with payment ($20 before May 23rd; $25 on day of show).  If you want to order one of the show t-shirts, we must RECEIVE your order by May 16th.  A limited number of shorts will be available at the show.

We have rearranged some of the car classes for this year's show, but we kept the number of classes at 39.  The changes were made due to shifting numbers of cars in several classes over the past few years.  The new car classes are shown on this list - 2016_Spring_Show_Car_Classes_-_Final.pdf

.  When filling out the pre-registration form, you will find cells for entering your car description, but not a cell for entering the car class.  Your car will be assigned to its car class by PNWMC staff as you enter the show area - same as we've always done.

The Saturday lunch cruise route and destination are set.  This cruise starts at the Dairy Queen on Jadwin Avenue in Richland (same as always) at 11:30 am.  All show entrants are welcome to cruise with us.

Our co-chairs this year are Shahna Airoldi (509-396-9084) and Nancy Spahr (509-586-2017).

For the benefit of our PNWMC members who have been helping plan this show, we now have the forms for the Trophy sponsorships, raffle prize collection form, and the vendor information form listed below for printing.

The 35th Annual PNWMC Spring Show & Shine was a good time for everybody.  The weather was sunny and warm both Saturday and Sunday.  The Saturday cruise went well and was enjoyed by all - REALLY enjoyed by a few (no, they were not driving unsafely).  Sunday's show went very well.  Initial indications are that everyone preferred Columbia Point Marina Park to the former site at Howard Amon Park despite having significantly less shade.  Happiest of all are probably Vern and Dottie Marking of our own Pacific Northwest Mustang Club (Participants' Choice Best of Show) with their poppy red 1965 Mustang coupe, and Steve and Cindy Wade of the Misfits (Chris Wollam Trophy as selected by representatives of the attending clubs) with their dark blue 1967 Shelby GT 350.  Photo selections and preparation are still in progress.
Three cheers go out to co-chairs are Dan Wilson (509-366-8699) and Shahna Airoldi (509-438-0653) and their supporting cast.

34th Annual Spring Show & Shine

The 2014 PNWMC Spring Show 'N' Shine is now completed.  It was a good show.  We heartily thank all the 155 entries, the volunteers who put on this show, our vendors, and the general public that came in to see the cars.
At our July 15th meeting, we presented checks for $1500 each to William Sweet of Washington Christian Ministries and Paul Lamb of Combat Veterans International.
