Due to COVID-19 and the Stay at Home order from our Governor, our Spring Show committee has decided to CANCEL the Spring Show for this year.  It was a hard decision to make.  Thank you for understanding.  See you all next year.

This decision has NO bearing on our Fall Show scheduled for October 4, 2020 at Columbia Crest Winery in Paterson, WA.

President Roseanne Davis and Spring Show Chairman Kevin Davis

As of March 24th, the Mustang clubs and others whose shows are listed on our Events Page are also still planning to hold them except where they are specifically marked "Cancelled."  These shows, especially those occurring soonest, are subject to postponement or cancellation due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic.  This webmaster will try to keep our Events List updated on these shows' status, but he strongly encourages people planning to attend them to contact the club or organization hosting the event for their most recent status.

The 2019 Spring Show 'N' Shine was held on May 25th and 26th in Richland at Columbia Point Marina Park (same site as the last few years).  The show was a big success with 165 cars parked on the grass.  The weather cooperated enough to keep everyone dry during the show.  We made a good profit for helping the Tri-Cities' 2 VFW posts.  Thanks to everyone who made the show possible, especially our show chairman, Kevin Davis, all the volunteers who did the work, and to our entrants who made all that work worthwhile.

The visiting entrants voted Owen and Kristy Kirsten's Candy Red 1968 Mustang GT/California Special as the Best of Show car.  Owen and Kristen are members of the Kitsap Mustang Club.  Here are 2 photos of their car:

The PNWMC car classification officers selected another Mustang as the PNWMC Memorial Award winner, honoring our deceased members.  This winner is a red 1967 Mustang coupe owned by Tom Watson.  Here are 2 photos of Tom's Mustang:

We had 39 classes of cars with trophies for the top 3 finishers as determined by our visiting entrants.  The PNWMC members did not vote on these trophies.  The complete list of the trophy winners is in this downloadable file: Spring_2019_Website_Trophy_Winners_Report.pdf

If you couldn't be at the show, here's an overview from the foot/bike path leading to the I-182 bridge over the Columbia River.

The show artwork is shown below and features the Grabber Orange 2007 Mustang GT of John and Shahna Airoldi and Jim Compton's maroon 1969 Cougar convertible.

This spring's show will be held on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th and 27th, in Richland, WA.  There will be a lunch cruise and an evening informal show on Saturday.  The lunch cruise will start at Columbia Point Marina Park and end at Kimo's on the Columbia River.  The evening informal show will be at the Dairy Queen, 1313 Jadwin Ave in Richland.  The official show will be on Sunday at Columbia Point Marina Park.  The northeast edge of the show field is several yards from the Columbia riverbank.

The Wednesday evening NOAA weather forecast for Sunday is "mostly clear with a high of 80-88."  There is absolutely NO chance of flooding at the show field from spring runoff.  There has been no flooding at all on the show field.  The forecast for Saturday's lunch cruise is a slight chance of showers before 11 a.m. with clearing after that.  Saturday's predicted high is 73-78.  The cruise doesn't start until 11:30, so we expect dry weather for the drive.

The official pre-registration forms were mailed to recent past participants on April 17th.  If you did not receive a registration form, it's available right here - 2018-PNWMC-Registration-_FINAL.pdf

.  It can't be filled out on-line; it needs to be printed, filled out, and sent to us.  If you can't deliver it to one of our meetings, just mail it to Pacific Northwest Mustang Club, P. O. Box 1693, Richland, WA  99352.  Please note that the deadline for pre-ordered t-shirts has passed.  Some t-shirts will be available at the show, but in limited quantities.  These t-shirts will all be regular male t-shirt sizes.

The show features Ford Mustangs, but is open to all makes and models of vehicles with 4 or more wheels.  There are 38 classes for cars and trucks.  Three trophies are awarded for each class.  We also have 2 special awards.  One is the Chris Wollam Memorial Award named after our late President; it is chosen by the PNWMC car classification crew.  The Participants' Choice Best of Show is determined by voting from our visiting entrants; PNWMC members are not allowed to vote on this award.  Both awards are open to all entrants of the show, not just Mustangs.

Need a motel?  We have arranged special rates with 2 motels near the show sites.  Days Inn at 615 Jadwin Ave in Richland has rooms at $63-68.  Pets are welcome for an additional $15/night.  Call 509-943-4611 for Day's Inn reservations.  Courtyard by Marriott at 480 Columbia Point Drive overlooks Columbia Point Marina Park and offers rooms for $129/night on the riverview side, $109/night on the other side.  Pets are not allowed except for service animals.  Call 509-942-9400 for reservations at Courtyard.  Both motels include breakfast and Wi-Fi in their prices.
